Ama (toxins) are eliminated from the body during sleep during detoxification and repair processes. According to Ayurveda, one way to rid the body of ama is the Ayurvedic treatment of tongue cleansing, as ama accumulates on the tongue after a sleep cycle.

Cleaning or scraping the tongue is recommended in Ayurveda as the first step in daily morning care to rid the body of ama (toxins). Upon waking, you may notice a coating or residue on your tongue. A tongue cleaner is an effective way to remove this coating.

Our tongue cleaners are made from high-quality pure copper. Due to its antibacterial properties, copper is of great importance in Ayurveda. A copper tongue cleaner ensures a completely clean mouth and fresh breath.

Material & Making

Our bottles and glasses are crafted from over 98% pure copper. Each piece is expertly shaped from a single sheet of copper to create a seamless, joint-free body. The interior remains completely untreated and free from coatings, allowing the water to come into direct contact with the natural copper surface. The exterior is finished with a protective lacquer that helps preserve the appearance of the copper and makes everyday care easier, while a silicone sealing ring ensures a secure closure.

The copper used in our products has been independently tested by TÜV Rheinland. Material composition testing conducted in 2022 on the submitted sample confirmed a copper content of 99.05%.

Every piece is handcrafted in India by skilled artisans using traditional copperworking techniques passed down through generations. This handcrafted process gives each product its own individual character—no two pieces are exactly alike. Small variations in hammering, engraving, shape or surface finish are a natural part of the craftsmanship and reflect the authenticity of each piece.

Our copperware is produced largely by hand, with a focus on traditional craftsmanship, durable materials and products designed for long-term use. Copper scraps and unused copper generated during production are carefully collected and sent for recycling, helping us use this valuable material responsibly and reduce production waste.
