It all started with a gift.
Shamika’s mother gifted her a handcrafted copper jug during a trip to India. Back in Germany, she shared it with friends and her close friend Rohit — who immediately saw its potential. Having both grown up with the tradition of drinking water from copper vessels, they shared a deep appreciation for this age-old ritual.
Inspired by their connection to copper, they developed their first prototypes and presented them at a lifestyle fair in Munich. The response exceeded all expectations — and there was no turning back.
As Forrest & Love grew, they partnered with a family-run copper manufacturer in India, building close relationships with skilled artisans and keeping craftsmanship and quality at the heart of the brand.
Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Forrest & Love continued to grow, bringing its distinctive copper lifestyle collection to customers and retail partners across more than 14 countries worldwide.
What began with a single copper jug has grown into a brand built around craftsmanship, tradition and timeless design.
