All Forrest & Love products are handcrafted in India using traditional techniques, making each piece unique. No mass production can match the exclusivity with which our trained and experienced artisans create this work of art. In a few cases, there may be minor flaws and imperfections during production - just like in nature, where no two things are ever the same, and yet each carries its own beauty. Small imperfections and flaws fall within the tolerance range of craftsmanship. Because we use pure copper, a natural darkening may occur over time - this is simply the beautiful patina developing, a sign of authenticity and timeless character that makes each piece uniquely yours. In such cases, you can clean your copper product with citric acid. Are You Using Your Copper Water bottles Correctly? Numerous studies have proven the positive benefits of copper water. Clean your copper bottles and glasses within minutes.
We recommend cleaning your new copper bottle or glass thoroughly before their first use. Simply rinse with warm water and mild soap or salt water from inside. Copper naturally oxidizes and this changes its appearance over time. From outside, the bottles have been lacquered using food safe lacquer; the inner surface has been kept raw and natural. As our Forrest & Love bottles are made of 99.7% pure copper, its completely natural that they will build patina on the inner surface over time. Many people like this graceful, ancient appearance. However, if you would rather have the copper shine, simply follow our cleaning instructions as in the video.

Here a few photo references - some showcasing natural variations that fall within our accepted craftsmanship tolerance, and others illustrating cases where light cleaning may be needed. In both instances, a return is not necessary, as these minor imperfections are considered within the normal range of handcrafted production.
However, if you still prefer to request a refund, you're welcome to return the product at your own cost. As long as the item is in unused condition, we’ll issue a full refund as soon as we receive it.
PRODUCT DEFECTS
A complaint is understandable and justified if it is a manufacturing defect that makes the product unsuitable for resale or use, e.g., holes, cracks, defective silicone ring, severe dents, and discolorations. For comparison, please take a look at a few reference photos. If the defect was caused by you or your customer, we cannot accept responsibility and will not replace the product.
Please note that returns and exchanges are only possible for items purchased through our online shop or directly from us.
