Copperware

Yes. All our drinkware is made from high-grade, pure copper with no alloys or added heavy metals like lead, nickel, aluminium etc. The products are left unprocessed on the inside for the benefits of copper water, and lacquered on the outside to prevent and retard tarnishing. Our copperware is tested by TÜV Rheinland for material purity and food safety.

Storing water in copper (Tamra Jal) makes it naturally alkaline and helps balance the body’s three Doshas according to Ayurveda. Copper also kills harmful bacteria and purifies water. Both its antibacterial and alkalising effects have been lab tested for our products.

Ideally, store water in copper for 8-12 hours or overnight. Do not leave the water sitting for over 16 hours, as this may result in a metallic taste.

Use only still water with no additives (e.g. lemon slices, mint, carbonation etc.) - directly from the tap or filtered water.

No. Use only for still water at room temperature. Acidic or carbonated drinks can react with copper. Do not store boiling hot water - copper conducts heat and can become extremely hot to touch. Besides, constant temperature changes like putting in the fridge will result in deforming the product, as copper is a soft metal.

In most cases, you’ll just enjoy the smooth, silky taste of clean water. A metallic taste is usually an indicator that your product needs cleaning or that the water was left in it for too long.

Yes, it is completely safe to drink copper water daily. Thanks to its antibacterial and alkalising powers, copper has been used for storing drinking water since centuries.

Ayurveda recommends 1-2 litres of copper water. However, you may choose to drink more or less to your liking. You can never consume too much copper through copper water - our lab tests prove that the copper levels are well under the WHO permissible limit of 2 mg/L.

Copper vessels may release tiny amounts of copper into the water, but they are not a medical treatment. If you suspect deficiency, consult a doctor.

Yes! All our bottles are made leakproof by a silicone ring on the lid.

This can happen with copper threads. Rub a little coconut oil along the threads on the lid and the mouth of the bottle, and wipe clean after a couple of minutes. This should stop the unpleasant squeaking.

Copper doesn’t insulate like a thermos, so it won’t keep water cold for hours. However, copper naturally keeps cooler than the room temperature and gives water a refreshing quality.

Copper is naturally self-sterilizing, so it doesn’t need intensive cleaning every day. For a deeper clean, use our recommended method once a week or whenever dark or green spots appear on the inside. For the exterior, just give a quick rinse with plain water to avoid scratching the surface, and wipe dry.

-Not dishwasher safe.

-Do not use harsh scrubbers or brushes.

-See our full cleaning guide.

No need to worry - those green spots are natural copper oxidation (patina). They can be cleaned off easily with our recommended cleaning method.

Copper Infuser

Simply hook the Copper Infuser onto your jug, carafe or even a wide-mouthed bottle, and let it immerse in still water for 4-12 hours. The copper ions will infuse in the water, transforming it into naturally alkaline water. That’s it! Leave it immersed in your glass jug and its striking design will add a charm to your table setting too!

For thousands of years, Ayurveda has praised the health benefits of drinking water stored in copper. When water rests in contact with copper, it naturally becomes more alkaline and takes on a smooth, refreshing taste. According to Ayurveda, this “charged” water helps restore balance to the body’s three doshas (Vata, Kapha, and Pitta). Traditionally, this therapeutic water is known as Tamra Jal. The Copper Infuser brings this ancient wisdom into the present. Simply immerse it in water for up to 12 hours, and it transforms plain drinking water into revitalizing Tamra Jal—no additional vessels required, just pure wellness in a modern, convenient form.

Yes! Our Copper Infusers are laboratory tested and proven to increase the pH level of water, making it naturally alkaline. Copper also acts anti-bacterial and is proven to have self-sterilizing properties. View scientific test results here.

Pure copper naturally develops patina over time due to oxidation. This does not hamper the anti-bacterial properties of copper even if it turns darker over time. In case you notice a green residue on your infuser, follow the cleaning tips in the next section.

Copper Infuser is super easy to clean. Simply polish with lemon + salt. Wipe off the mixture with a clean damp cloth or rinse with clean water.

Tongue Cleaner

Ama or toxins are expelled by the body when we go through detoxification and repair processes during sleep. These get accumulated on the tongue, often seen as a white coating. A tongue cleaner effectively removes this toxic and bacterial build-up. In effect, this obstructs the toxins getting absorbed back into the body which ultimately affects our digestion.

•Removes build-up and toxins (Ama) that get deposited on the tongue during the night. •Helps combat bad breath, by eliminating smell-inducing bacteria. •Improves sense of taste. •Supports digestion - a healthy mouth is the basis for good digestive health. •Prescribed in Ayurveda as the first step of a morning routine.

Our tongue cleaners are made of pure, high-quality copper. Copper has natural antibacterial properties and is therefore particularly valued in Ayurveda. It prevents bacteria and germs from multiplying on the tongue cleaner itself, ensuring hygienic and effective cleaning.

The gag reflex occurs when the tongue is touched too far back. Therefore, place the tongue cleaner only as far back as is comfortable and gently pull it forward scraping over the tongue 3-4 times. Over time, you will get used to using it and can gradually move the tongue scraper further back without discomfort.

•Rinse thoroughly with mild soap before first use. •For everyday use, it is sufficient to clean the tongue cleaner under running water after each use. •Copper is naturally antimicrobial – additional disinfection is not necessary. •Pure copper oxidizes over time and develops dark spots. This can be easily cleaned with a mixture of lemon and salt. Wipe with a soft cloth or simply rinse with clear water and store in a dry place.

No! Pure copper oxidizes over time and develops dark spots. This is completely normal and does not hamper its effectiveness. Copper is durable and antibacterial. The discoloration can be easily removed with a mixture of lemon and salt, and rinsed off with water.

Kansa Wand

The Kansa Wand is a traditional Ayurvedic tool made from a unique metal alloy of copper and tin, known for its therapeutic benefits. It is designed to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and overall enhancement of skin and circulation.

Step 1: Cleanse your skin and apply a light oil or serum to ensure smooth gliding.

Step 2: Choose a side of the massager as per the desired area and pressure

Step 3: Hold the wand at a comfortable angle and gently glide it over your skin in circular motion going upwards and downwards. Focus on areas of tension or puffiness, spending a bit more time on those spots. Find detailed video instructions for face, feet and head massage here.

The Kansa Wand is not just a massaging tool for the face, but for any part of your body that needs a little TLC! The double-ended massager can be used on the neck, shoulders, back, feet or even for a head massage. Choose either the narrow or broad end and let it glide on your skin with some oil.

•Promotes relaxation and stress relief •Improves circulation and stimulates reflex points
•Enhances skin by balancing pH •Reduces puffiness and tension in facial muscles

Some people might experience a grey film appearing on the skin while massaging with the Kansa Wand. However, this is in no way dangerous, it is just a result of oxidation when the Kansa reacts with the skin oils. This can be easily wiped off with a moist towel or washed off with water.

Do's:
•Do start with clean skin for optimal results.
•Do use a light oil or serum to facilitate smooth movement.
•Do apply gentle pressure - let the weight of the wand do the work.
Don’ts:
•Don’t use the massager on broken or irritated skin.
•Don’t use excessive force; the wand is meant for gentle use.
•Don’t forget to clean the wand after each use.

After each use, wipe the wand with a soft, damp cloth. For deeper cleaning, use mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials to maintain the wand’s quality. For more detailed instructions, follow the tips in this video.

The Kansa Wand is suitable for all skin types. However, it is not recommended to use on broken or irritated skin.

Store the Kansa Wand in a cool, dry place, preferably in a soft cloth bag or pouch to protect it from scratches. Make sure it is completely dry before storing.

Copper Bracelets

Wear it directly on the skin for maximum benefit – typically on the wrist or lower arm.

Yes! All our designs are open-ended cuffs and can be gently bent to make them wider or smaller for a perfect fit.

A copper bracelet does so much more than your regular jewelery!

•Acts antibacterial
•Supports energy flow
•Reduces body heat
•Promotes grounding

Like most other jewelery, store dry and avoid contact with perfumes or heavy oils/lotions. Take the bracelet off before swimming or showering. Copper itself is antibacterial and self-sterilizing, ensuring that you are wearing a naturally clean bracelet at any given time.

Your bracelet is made of pure copper – meaning that it will naturally oxidize over time and darken. This is absolutely safe and just adds to the antique charm of copper. If your bracelet has developed green spots, it is likely that it has come in contact with some acidic substance. You can choose to use lemon+salt to restore the copper shine.

You might notice a greenish colouration appearing on your skin after prolonged use. This just proves that you are wearing pure copper, rather than a sign of poor quality! Copper reacts with sweat, acids in your skin, skincare products or moisture and can cause a green tint on your skin. Some people experience it more than others, depending on their skin’s pH level. It washes off easily with soap and water, and it is completely safe to continue using your copper cuff.

This is a great sign that the bracelet is working for you! Copper is known to remove excess heat from the body and hence may feel warm to the touch.
