A regal addition to your tableware! The Mosaic Glass with its intricate symmetry is directly inspired by palatial motifs. Its delicate florals nestled in a fine matrix of line-work are an interpretation of magnificent carvings found in palaces. The glass invokes a sense of grandeur, much like the water tumblers once used by royalty.

Handcrafted from a single sheet of pure copper, the glass is a fine example of skilled craftsmanship. In addition to its alluring looks, the glass has an antibacterial and self-sterilising effect on water, thanks to the oligodynamic action of pure copper.

    Ayurveda Benefits:
    Since ancient times, Ayurveda has advocated the benefits of drinking copper water. As per Ayurveda, when you store water in a copper vessel for a span of 4-12 hours (best stored overnight), the water becomes naturally alkaline. This happens because the copper vessel positively charges the water and energizes it, making the water ‘live’ again. It also leaves it tasting silky smooth. The charged copper water helps bring balance to the Tridosha (Vata, Kapha and Pitta) of the body. In Ayurveda, this transformed, therapeutic water taken from copper vessels is called ‘Tamra Jal’.


    Scientific Benefits:
    Studies show that copper vessels can increase the pH level of water, making it naturally alkaline. Additionally, they also act anti-bacterial. Laboratory tests conducted on both filtered as well as unfiltered water that even included harmful bacteria like E. coli conclusively prove the anti-bacterial & anti-microbial effect of copper. Copper has self-sterilizing properties. Modern science calls this the oligodynamic effect – the inherently toxic effect of certain metals on pathogens.

    Storage Tips:
    To enjoy its maximum benefits, let your water stay overnight in the glass and drink it the next day, either in the morning on an empty stomach or throughout the day, for a vital dose of copper for a better life and mood!
    We recommend storing only still water in your single layered copper glasses.

    Cleaning Tips:

  • Put a table spoon of citric acid powder or descaler powder in the copper glass. Pour hot water and let it rest for few minutes. Shake well and rinse off. Your copper glass will shine as new from within.
  • Do not clean or scrub the glass from outside. The lacquer layer could rub off.
  • Hand wash recommended, not dish washer friendly.
